De La Tierra Mexican cooking school is located in the quiet neighborhood of San Felipe del Agua, Oaxaca, Mexico. In a beautiful private house with views of Oaxaca’s stunning mountain ranges, De La Tierra offers a special experience in a charming environment. The cooking school is owned and run by internationally experienced Australian chef, Travis Harvey and his partner, Karin Ferguson. Travis' recipes and knowledge of Mexican cuisine come from years of living in Central America and a lifelong fascination with Mexican food and culture. In addition to the varied menus offered at De La Tierra, Chef Travis offers market tours as well as chocolate and chorizo making workshops. Come and experience firsthand the amazing produce, tradition and dishes of Mexico.
